Uniting Distant Stars Vocational Training Center

Uniting Distant Stars started their vocational training in 2014 but made it official in 2016 when we received our TVET Permit. We offer Auto Mechanics, Catering, Computers, Cosmetology, Driver’s Ed, Electrician, Event Decoration, Hotel Management, Plumbing, Solar/Satellite TV Installation, and Tailoring. All but Driver’s Ed are one-year courses with at least 85% hands-on training. The courses offered each term are based on student demand.

We provide affordable tuition and flexible payment plans. Also, the students and instructors meet at the start of each term to determine the schedule.

Our students’s ages span from teenagers to 40-somethings and varying educational backgrounds from no high school to college graduates.

Our training program consists of learning marketable trade skills, building confidence, and reclaiming one’s self-worth. We listen, respect, and value our students.

As of 9/30/23, we have graduated five cohorts of students, with the sixth graduating this year. The soon-to-be graduates plan what they want their commencement ceremony to offer, from souvenirs to the guest speaker.

UDSVTC also achieved 100% solar energy in 2023. It took 2019 to 2023 to accomplish this goal. Our electrician students helped install the solar during three installation phases to gain experience.
